Joseph Hager
Joseph "Joe" Hager was very active in code enforcement in the North End neighborhood. Any unsightly areas were reported to the city. Joe is pictured in the center, watching a tree being trimmed in one of the tree pits on North Mechanic Street. Les Bohrer, on the left, and Earl "Butch" Folk, on the right, joined Joe in walking the streets in the neighborhood.
Joe Hager would often be seen walking the streets with a spray bottle to kill the weeds in
the cracks of the sidewalks.
