North End Neighborhood Watch

The North End Neighborhood Watch group participated in the North End Gateway Celebration, at the Centre Street Playground.  Louise Elliott, president, invited the City of Cumberland Police Department to the event.   George Reynolds, treasurer, and Sally Robinette, secretary, ran a booth selling handmade patriotic novelties and tickets for a raffle.  WalMart contributed $25 and Lowe's offered a 20% discount on over a $120 in safety and security items purchased by Cumberland Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. for the raffle to benefit the new watch group.
